Full Circle Hand Therapy

Private Health Insurance

Hand therapy services are provided by our team of occupational therapists. We accept all private health rebates and have immediate online claiming for most health funds.

Different health funds and tiers of extras cover will determine if you are eligible for a rebate. If in doubt, please contact your health fun provider to see if you have cover for occupational therapy, prior to your appointment. Some funds will reimburse the costs of custom-made splints, which will need to be claimed directly by the patient to the health fund.

Medicare

(Enhanced Primary Care Plan, or Team Care Arrangements)

If you are visiting us using a Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) otherwise known as Team Care Arrangements (TCA), we will require a signed plan from your general practitioner for occupational therapy.

These will generally be eligible for up to five sessions, with a reimbursement per appointment. Full payment is required at each appointment before our staff assist in processing a rebate from Medicare.

RTWSA and other Third-Party Claims

This type of claim is for those who have sustained an injury related to their work or a motor vehicle accident. We will require a referral and all relevant claim details, including a claim number. This referral could be from a general  practitioner, specialist, claims manager or any other allied health professional.

National Disability Insurance Scheme

We accept National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) patients who are plan-managed or self-managed. Clients may either pay for their consultation at the time of the appointment or provide an email address of their plan manager for their invoices to be forwarded to.

Prior to your first appointment, we will require contact details of your plan
manager and a written confirmation of approval for services.

Department of Veterans’ Affairs

If we see you under claim to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA), we will require a referral from your doctor prior to the consultation. Gold and white card holders will be eligible for accessing this scheme.
